This article shows you how to use the Universal Data (UD) Connect interface provided with SAP NetWeaver 7.0 along with Master Data Management (MDM) to consolidate heterogeneous data. It shows you how to configure UD Connect, walks you through a four-phase process for implementing it and using MDM to integrate the data with minimal disruption, and lastly explains what you need to do to monitor the unified data.
